What is a brand alignment review?
A brand alignment review examines how an execution reflects the identity, standards and character of a brand.
Some questions concern explicit rules, such as logo use or typography. Others require contextual judgment, such as whether the imagery and tone fit the audience and the brand’s intended positioning.
What does the review consider?
Identity and design rules: How the creative uses the wordmark, typography, colors and other supplied identity elements.
Visual quality and character: Whether imagery, composition and visual treatment support the character described in your references.
Voice and messaging: Whether the language and claims fit the supplied tone and communication brief.
Audience and relevance: Whether the execution appears consistent with the audience needs and motivations you have defined.
Better references make the review more useful
Provide current guidelines and explain any campaign-specific exceptions. Include the intended audience, objective and placement so the review has a clear basis.
A missing rule cannot be checked against an assumed standard. Your team remains responsible for confirming that recommendations fit the brand and its approved requirements.
Turn findings into a revision brief
Review flagged issues alongside the broader creative assessment. Decide which changes matter, share the priorities with your team and compare the revised execution.
